Since its foundation in 1991, Haupas UAB has been engaged in the wholesale of oil products and fuel supply to the energy operators of Lithuania.
Until 2003, we supplied fuel oil to the largest Lithuanian thermal power plant in Elektrėnai and the Kaunas Combined Heat and Power Plant and diesel fuel to Lietuvos Geležinkeliai AB (Lithuanian Railways).
In 1994-2003, we represented the international energy company Royal Dutch Shell and acted as the official authorised distributor of Shell oils and lubricants in Lithuania.
In 1999-2005, in our own oil product terminal, we provided the services of reception, storage and issue of oil products, introduction of additives to fuel, and accounting of goods; we serviced such companies as Shell Lietuva, Statoil Lietuva, and Hydro Texaco.
Currently, the main activity of Haupas UAB is trading in natural gas and efficient and cost-effective delivery of gas to the consumers of Lithuania. Having signed an agreement with Gazprom OAO, Haupas has been supplying natural gas to the town of Druskininkai since 2003 and since 2014, after the liberalisation of the natural gas market by the Government of Lithuania – to the whole country.
An independent natural gas supplier’s licence enables the company to supply natural gas throughout the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
Haupas actively cooperates with its partners and is a member of the Lithuanian Gas Association.
The company employs highly qualified energy, IT and customer service specialists.
Being an independent supplier of natural gas based on the international experience, Haupas seeks to supply natural gas to as many consumers as possible and to offer them the best conditions.
